SLA Reporting

It is important to report network performance against a SLA (Service Level Agreement). At present, there is no standardised recommendation for reporting SLA compliance.

Mingoa has leveraged off SONET/SDH standards and reports network performance in a manner similar to TDM.
SLA Service Level Agreement, Severely Errored Seconds, Line Rate Loopback, fault notification The hardware measures Far-End and Near-End Losses and the Frame Loss SLA thresholds are configurable per service. We correlate these measurements using an innovative and configurable scheme, that delivers results to five-nines accuracy.

We measure Frame Delay and Frame Delay Variation and again the SLA thresholds are configurable per service. We also measure other network errors and correlate these into the SLA reports.

The hardware can additionally configure a service to provide detailed reports on all events in the most recent number of seconds. The API collects and forms these detailed reports.
